Neben American Airlines, Canadian Airlines, Cathay Pacific und Qantas war British Airways das fünfte Gründungsmitglied der oneworld Alliance. Heute besteht sie aus 15 Vollmitgliedern mit einer Flotte von zusammen 3.300 Flugzeugen, die Flüge in nicht weniger als 170 Länder in allen Teilen der Welt durchführt. Zusätzlich zu drei Airbus A320, die für die Allianz werben, hat British Airways auch fünf seiner Boeing 777, darunter G-YMMU, mit dem oneworld-Schriftzug auf dem Rumpf versehen.

It today consists of 15 full members with a fleet size of 3,300 aircraft, operating flights to no less than 170 countries in all corners of the globe. In addition to three Airbus A320 promoting the alliance, British Airways has also added oneworld titles on the fuselage of five of its Boeing 777s, including G-YMMU.
