Etihad Airways Airbus A350-1000 Mit seiner Treibstoffeffizienz und der daraus resultierenden großen Reichweite von bis zu 17.000 Kilometern hat der hochmoderne Airbus A350-1000 für Etihad Airways neue Strecken eröffnet. Neun Exemplare der 74 Meter langen Flugzeuge gehören derzeit bereits zur Flotte, weitere 18 Flugzeuge sollen folgen, um das Streckennetz von Etihad vom Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi zu weit entfernten Zielen auf der ganzen Welt weiter auszubauen. Im Vergleich zur ersten Auflage verfügt diese neue Version nicht nur über eine neue Registration – A6-XWC –, sondern auch über zusätzliche Aufdrucke am Bug. With its fuel-efficiency and resulting long range of up to 17,000 kilometers, the state-of-the-art Airbus A350-1000 has opened up new routes for Etihad Airways. Nine of the 74 meter-long aircraft are currently already part of the fleet, with a further 18 aircraft to follow, which will help further expand Etihad’s network from Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport to far-away destinations around the world. In comparison to the first edition, this new production run features not only a new registration – A6-XWC – but also additional printed details on its nose section.
