Um den lokalen Stolz zu feiern und zu stärken, hat die führende Fluggesellschaftsgruppe Lateinamerikas, LATAM, fünf Flugzeuge mit den jeweiligen Flaggenfarben der Länder geschmückt, in denen die Tochtergesellschaften Inlandsflüge durchführen: Brasilien, Kolumbien, Peru, Ecuador – und Chile. Die ehemals nationale Fluggesellschaft des südamerikanischen Landes, LAN Chile, ist eines der Gründungsmitglieder der LATAM Gruppe. Diese A320 mit chilenischer Kennung CC-BFE weist das LATAM-Corporate-Design auf, jedoch wurden die Farben angepasst, um die Nationalflagge Chiles zu repräsentieren. Four of these constantly updated aircraft are in service with the Pacific Air Forces from Alaska and Japan. Since 1979, the 961st Squadron has been stationed at Kadena Air Base on the Japanese island of Okinawa, providing surveillance, command and communications for the 18th Wing and its other seven units.
